In this initial session, we will get to know one another and talk through what you can expect during our time together over the 12 weeks.
We’ll talk about your health history and history with binge eating, and discuss your intentions behind healing from binge eating and how we’ll get you on the right path to healing your relationship with food. -
This week we'll dive into the core principles of proper fueling to prevent binge eating. We'll explore the physiological response behind the binge-restrict cycle, discuss the impact of insufficient food intake on the body, and provide a personalized binge recovery nutrition plan to help you fuel your body effectively.
Additionally, you'll receive practical strategies and an emergency guide to effectively manage your urges to binge.

This week we'll embark on the journey of breaking free from the diet mentality and ditching the harmful effects of diet culture. We'll uncover the physiological changes caused by dieting, reconnect with our hunger signals, and embrace the principles of intuitive eating.
Together, we'll identify and challenge the pervasive influence of diet culture in our thoughts, empowering you to build a healthier, more balanced relationship with food and your body.

This week we'll navigate the honeymoon phase that arises when allowing fear foods back into your life and explore effective coping strategies to avoid restriction and manage overeating episodes.

This week we'll dive into the realm of emotional eating by understanding the four types of hunger and how they relate to our emotions.
Building upon previous coping strategies and lists, we'll develop a comprehensive approach to effectively manage your emotional eating and nurture your overall well-being.

Get ready to approach binges with curiosity and an open mindset in Week #8. We'll learn the art of riding the wave of the urge to binge, and exploring alternative coping strategies that go beyond food.
Through cultivating self-compassion and curiosity, we'll navigate the aftermath of a binge with a non-judgmental perspective, building resilience and a healthier relationship with ourselves.

This week we'll address body image issues head-on and embrace a body neutrality mindset. By raising awareness of self-objectification and breaking harmful beliefs, we'll cultivate acceptance and respect for our bodies.
Together, we'll foster a positive and healthy relationship with our physical selves, nurturing self-love and appreciation.

Continuing the body image work from the previous week, Week #10 focuses on ditching the body beliefs that have been holding us back.
We'll educate ourselves on fatphobia, weight stigma, and their connection to binge eating. By embracing body diversity and practicing self-acceptance, we'll pave the way for a more empowering and liberated relationship with our bodies.

This week we'll delve into the concept of gentle nutrition, finding the delicate balance between nourishing our bodies and enjoying our food choices. We'll assess our readiness for intuitive eating or maintaining a structured meal plan, as we foster a holistic approach to honoring our health without falling into the trap of restrictive behaviors.
Together, we'll develop a sustainable and enjoyable approach to nourishing our bodies.
